Can you tell us where you parked. I am probably going to take the Elk Park to Needleton hike in 3 weeks and I don't want to have pay $7 a day for parking.

Also, I think you mentioned in your text that you stayed in a park 25 miles north the night before. I want to do the same thing so I can cut the cost of staying in Durango. What park is that?

Absolutely love the video and information. You rock... This content has really made a difference in my trip planning.

Bless you... Dave

Darren,

If you have never been to the Valley of the Gods and the Moqui Dugway in southeastern Utah, it is a beautiful area. Much less congested than the more well-known Mounument Valley and just as beautiful, only on a smaller scale! It's a must see trip!

Hey Darren,
I really liked your write up on the Echo Park campground in Dinosaur National Monument. When was the last time you visited there? I was planning on taking my car up there tomorrow and was curious if those roads are still car negotiable.

Thanks in advance,
Joe

Hi Darren,

Back in the Smokies for some springtime shooting rain, rain, rain. Just checked your site and I think the link to the "Recent Images" gallery is dead.

Saw a female bear with three cubs this evening in Cades Cove.

Hi Darren,
It's good to see you got some away time in Utah, Canyonlands no less! I was able to get to the Moab area at the end of December with my grandson for a few days of hiking, plus some time in Souther Utah in and around the Vermilion Cliffs wilderness. But my favorite place in the last year has to be our Fall trip to Colorado. We hit a lot of areas that were at or near peak color and came away with some prime images. Thanks for your insight and all your recommendations. Between Independance Pass and Leadville was awesome!

Hello Darren,
I just happened upon your site. How do you find the time to do all these great things? I have recently gotten into photography and thought I would take a trip to the San Juan Mtns to get pictures of wildflowers. When would you suggest I go to catch them at their peak?

Thanks,
Tom

I absolutely love the info and scenic pictures on your blog and mycolorado.org. Thanks to you, I now have a "summer home" to sleep in in my 4Runner. I did have a question though. How big was your lift kit? I love the look!
