For communication with other drivers on a group ride, I picked up this basic unit that fits perfectly below my radio in the available single din slot and provides a clean, almost factory look. In fact, the installation is so perfect that it is just sitting in place as I don't have it bolted in. I have a 90° elbow fitting for the coax, otherwise there just isn't enough room for the cable to bend. As it is, it is all the way back and the unit sits in there nice and tight. It really does fit like a glove. For the wiring, I just spliced them in with the existing radio harness leads.

It performs flawlessly on trail runs. No issues at all and the front speaker is nice and very loud. Anymore, I mainly usually use it for the weather radio functionality. Highly recommended for $65.
