Baldwin Lakes is a short, 2.9-mile trail that forks off where the Mt. Antero trail starts. I ran this with Alan Pershing (aka HaveBlue on the various forums) prior to running Mt. Antero. This road has a somewhat sizable rocky section near the top. The Baldwin Lakes cannot be seen from the end of the road, so you'll just have to do a quick walk over some berms to view them. Along the way, we took a short spur road back to the north to an old mine. It provides a pretty nice aerial view of the lakes, but does have an off-camber piece on it. Both roads are well worth taking if you're in the area.
